Digital Shoreditch runs for 2 weeks – from Monday May 21st to Friday June 1st 2012.
There are 10 themed days happening at the Digital Shoreditch HQ Big Top on Shoreditch High Street.
These are : Inspire, Innovate, Career, Capital, Identity, Growth, Next, Brands, Play and the Summit.
There is also a 2 day hackathon hosted at google campus and a further 30+ events run by our partners.
A Day Pass gives you access to a specific day. This pass is for attending just one day of the festival. For almost all events you can get a Free Day tickets, some require a refundable deposit, which you get back if you turn up on the day.

Making Interactive Music Apps for iPhones & iPadsTues 22nd MayThe course will guide you through the initial design stages of an audio processing app, and will then introduce you to a powerful music-making toolkit for iOS. The course will then guide you through the steps required to make an iPhone play beautiful marimba sounds, and then show you how to implement Gesture Recognizers to easily control the instrument. By the end you will have a fully-working handheld marimba, as well as the knowledge and the code needed to start building a beta version of the app.

ConnectedUK – AUDIENCESTues 22nd MayAudiences, where would we be without them? Now that audiences are watching on multiple screens, what are they doing on their phone while they watch TV? How can we accurately measure their activity? Our next evening of thought provoking speakers will explore the changing nature of the people that watch us. Create a 30-second jingle in 30-minutes! Co-create in competing teams with composer Stuart Wood; rhyming words and making music to create a commercial, in half an hour! Then see it come to life by a troupe of musical theatre actors.
